One of the things I did when I started in this association was to align myself with one of the most respected, no-nonsene officials we have. I asked him to be my mentor and help steer me in the. He does D1 and holds a lot of influence with the commish and other varsity refs. As long as he's around hopefully I should be able to cut through a lot of the BS that goes on.
