Saw our famous b/c situation result in a no-call in the UMD-UVA game. UVA brought the ball across half court, A1 on sideline tried to pass to A2 at edge of center circle. B1 deflected ball, several players scrambled for it. A2 clearly is the only player to get to the ball, tries to grab in the front court but loses ball, ball bounds away toward b/c, he jumps and catches with one foot in b/c. Would have been ok except for his initial touch in the front court before he stepped b/c.

I saw it live action and said whoa, that was a b/c. I hit my rewind (Replay TV is great!) and verified the order of events. I wasn't sure if they missed it or just didn't think quickly enough as it all transpired. But all the b/cdiscussions made the appropriate call clear for me.
