Casebook 3.1.1 Situation N says you can't do this with the catcher so it stands to reason (reason ??) you can't with the pitcher.
The rationale is that it's a projected sub.
The BS is that, as both are already in the lineup, they are not subs.
Nonetheless FED says you can't do that.
