Off season is killing me. Anyone else?
How about some football....
4th/goal on the B6. A22 runs the ball around the right side heading for the pylon in an attempt to score. Provide NFHS and NCAA rulings for each scenario.
1) As he approaches the goal line, A22 leaps for the end zone. He touches the pylon while in the air.
2) He has one foot inbounds on the B2 as he extends and reaches for the end zone, touching the pylon with the ball before falling out of bounds.
3) He dives for the goal line from the B3 and is forced out of bounds by B50. While in the air, he reaches for and touches the pylon while his body is clearly outside of the sideline.
4) He extends towards the goal line, but fumbles the ball at the B1. The ball bounces through the back of the end zone out of the field of play.
5) Extra credit: what are the legal colors for a pylon?
