You're correct. I've worked FED in football, baseball, softball, basketball and volleyball, and have NEVER seen a reference to redlining. That's strictly a local matter. In the associations I've been a member of (assignor for two), a valid written reason had to be given to redline an official. We don't allow coaches or a.d.'s to tell us who to assign.
