I had a varsity game where this happened. Nice field good school, girl slide in home and pulled the plate out of the ground. Coach comes out and says I finally got them to order me a new plate I have been telling them this one's getting old it's suppose to be here tomorrow! We reset it and went on with no issues. And two weeks later when I was there they did have a new home plate
