Looks like all the Joba-rules in New York couldn't save that pitcher's arm. According to the latest report, Joba is now done for the season and headed for Tommy John surgery. Unfortunate, as I don't wish to see any player suffer an injury, especially one which can be career-ending. (Note: insert a thought hoping for a full recovery for Posey here.)

That said, this negative which befell a Yankee made me think of JR. I hope that he is doing ok. I haven't seen a post from him on the forum for some time now.
