Working the plate yesterday, in a JV game, and took a SHOT directly in the sternum - right at the edge of Pro 9 CP.....and ALL I can say is that it is certainly an interesting experience not being able to BREATHE for a few seconds
....I can't imagine what would have happened if I had one of those little CPs on....or even NO CP....
Funny thing was after a few seconds, I was pretty good, and by the end of the inning, was totally back to what passes for my 'normal'.....
