  • Tap the tip of the cap
  • Nod
  • Reposition your hat
  • Swipe across the belt-buckle
I have seen them all used for various signals, it is important to hit it in the pregame so you both know what you are calling.

I prefer the Tap the tip of the cap, as it most resembles the IFF signal.
