Worked a college wood bat league DH about 4 years ago, on Father's day. First game went 10, second the normal 7. I not sure how long all this lasted, but partner did not show so I worked 17 plate innings by myself and it was about 90 degrees. Miserable day.
I don't recall a single argument or close play from the two games.
I doubt it went 6.5 hours though, maybe 5.5 with break in between. The 10 inning game went faster than you might imagine, good pitching, good defense, wood bats.
