The rulebook seems a little light on the specifics of the stealing rule for adult SP.

1. If you leave too early, are you out?
2. If you leave too early and a pitched ball hits the ground in front of the plate before the umpire declares a "dead ball," are you out or do you return to the base? The argument could be that the runner left too early while the ball was live, therefore the runner is out. OR, the runner was never eligible to steal in the first place because the pitched ball did not cross the front of the plate on the fly.

If you can refer me to the Rule number addressing these, that would be great!
