There is no AAU for college age - by age group, it is most competitive. To be clear, it starts at 10U and goes up to 18U. And college recruiters pay close attention to the national tournaments and who the major players are, as well as other NCAA-authorized tournaments.
If you want to pick nits, then WNBA is higher level of competition than college.
