This is a poor question, IMO.
The correct answer, based on my scoring 100 on the exam, is not the same answer I'd give today.
A runner is not out if he commits MC after he scores. I think that's the intent of the question (based on the "correct" answer), but the NFHS defines a runner as someone who has not yet scored and "retired runner" includes a runner who has scored (see the definitions).
So, do you want to know what I think the correct answer is or would you like to know what the NFHS wants as an answer on the exam. Those, IMO, are two different things.
