I'm asking whomever closest to me. If that's the captain and he/she wants to discuss it with their coach, what's an extra 20 seconds to me? In the list of the top 100 things that matter during a game, this comes in around #2436 imo.
The only point I was trying to make was that you don't
have to ask the coach. Hopefully that will be enough to forestall another 231,000 word filibuster from MTD Sr. on why historically we should ask the captain. But I'm not counting on it.
