I'm certain Mr. Wiederaenders did not intend to deceive us. Perhaps he might post a clarification. I hope he will. But so far he seems to be doing a lot of advertising for the Academy and very little responding and participating (the only response I know of to any post was when he felt I somehow misrepresented the Academy.) I don't necessarily have a problem with that, but in this case it seems necessary that he respond.
As far as I understand, Jim Evans' Official Baseball Rules Annotated is available only at the Academy and it can only be purchased by students of the Academy. It is not handed out to students.
If the "subject" in Mr. Wiederaenders post is accurate, he is talking about the book we all want. I have e-mailed the Academy. I will post any information that I receive. If anyone else knows anything sooner, please post that information.

I certainly hope that Mr Wiederaenders is either mistaken (rather than deceptive) or better still 100% correct. If it is the latter, then I will sincerely apologize to him for my skepticism and add my name to the list of those willing to part with $US65.00 + postage to have the most recent and complete version available of Jim Evans'
Official Baseball Rules Annotated. Especially as I don't expect a new version to be published and generally available anytime soon.
