Years ago. Game site 15 minutes from work. Very low-level Boys private school game. Change at work because game site has no locker room. Couple of last minute things pop up at work so I'm running late, won't get to game until about 25-30 minutes before tip-off. On the drive over, stop and go traffic b/c of construction on 2-lane road. Totally my fault I rear end car in front of me.
More damage to my car than hers; we both have same insurance company so info exchange goes quickly. Get to game site about 10 minutes before game time. Walk in gym. Girls basketball team is having practice.
Boys game was re-scheduled for some reason and assignor never got the word to me.
At least I got paid.
