As I see it the only ones that should be exempt from going through the security scanners are those that have a medical exemption with the proper documentation.

We have a 4th amendment right from unreasonable SEARCH and seizure. The TSA could easily follow the El-AL model and search only those people whom they have a reason to search allowing the rest of use our "peace and quiet enjoyment."
