Modified your first table to show you how to get tem to line up. Just "quote" it to see the formatting commands. The case of the letters (tr, td, table) doesn't matter.

I'm giving a talk on Feb 6, "Women in Sports Day" and got some statistics from NFHS. This first is all "licensed" basketball officials in a state:
Number | No. of States |
250 or fewer | 2 |
251-500 | 12 |
501-750 | 2 |
751 -1000 | 8 |
1001-1250 | 3 |
1251-1500 | 5 |
1501-1750 | 1 |
1751-2000 | 5 |
2001-2500 | 3 |
2501-3000 | 0 |
3001-3500 | 1 |
3501-4000 | 3 |
4001-4500 | 2 |
4501-5000 | 2 |
8000 | 1 |
and here is percentage of officials in a state that are female:
0-3.9% 25
4-7.9% 15
8-11.9% 8
20-23.9% 2
24% - up 1
Okay, here's the question:
NFHS couldn't tell me which states fit where, in these numbers. Anyone out there know what the figures are for your state? I'm especially curious about the one state with 8000 officials, probably CA or TX, or perhaps NY. Can anyone tell me definitely? Also which one state has more than 25% female basketball officials. I doubt it's Oregon, from my limited knowledge. Does anyone know for sure?
Thanks.
