Been there, done that.

They will just incorporate it into their delivery and if an IP is called will swear that the pitcher stopped regardless of what the umpire "thought" s/he saw. And, of course, the coach will tell you the you are the ONLY umpire to ever make that call

Of course, if they would just change to and enforce a 2-second hesitation (like ISFs rule), it almost becomes a non-issue.

Then again, it is really a non-issue now, so why are we talking about it?
