In my case, I was advised that this would happen and that the visitors already knew. So, I said, "Okay", and then went over to the visitors to make sure they knew.
If the visitors got nasty about it, they would put themselves in a very awkward postion when their player hit 1,000. Talk 'em out of complaining. Should be a very easy sell.
