This is the problem with all the "regimes" that run officiating all over the country. You do not know how to use common sense to do anything but a policy instead. I would have not likely said anything either, but I would not have needed a policy to do it. And if I did say something, it would have not been a big deal. My question to the AD if I would have commented is "Do your job and I will do mine."
