What I'm meaning is that I have both a PS3 & Wii, & have some knowledge of the gaming systems.
On my PS3 I have Dante's Inferno, GTA IV, GTA IV: Episodes from Liberty City, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, God of War Collection, & Ninja Gaiden Sigma. All have an ESRB-Rating of M.
Depending on the training the store associates have, they should automatically ask for ID when picking up M-rated games. The 2 stores I normally pick up my games from always ask for my ID when I have picked up an M-Rated game.
I have found on occasion an AO-Rated game at Walmart & GameStop.

Rockstar Games had to re-release the game without the mod and get re-rated an M before retailers would sell the game again). Some will even go so far as to restrict sales of M rated games to minors.
