If they cross your personal line, warn 'em and then "t" 'em if they persist. But do
not give them any ammunition to use against you. When you wise-azz a coach, it licenses him to do the exact same thing back to you. And if you don't like his reponse, what can you do? "T" him up for doing what you just did?
Make the comments in your mind. And try not to grin while doing so.
