I agree, they are a real pain (literally)! I was at the cardiologist's office yesterday and I got the official report about my condition -- CHF diastolic failure (Congestive Heart Failure). The heart is not taking in enough blood into the chambers due to several factors.
So far, the heart is still strong enough to pump so it is
not Systolic heart failure (heart transplant candidate). But what sucks is if the medications cannot keep things under control, I will be relegated to instructor and evaluator - on field work will be out of the question.
