The rules also say that a ball is out-of-bounds if it passes over the top of a rectangular backboard. Sooooo...what do you call, Skippy, on a shot from the deep corner when one half of the ball passes over the plane of the side of the board and the other half of the ball passes over the plane of the top of the board? Half a violation?
