Linda McMahon, World Wrestling Entertainment CEO lost her bid to become the first female U.S. senator from Connecticut.
As many of your would expect, it turned in to a real circus toward the end. Our Secretary of State voiced an opinion late in the election that voters would not be allowed to wear clothing with a WWE logo within 75 feet of the polls. She used the precedent of California not allowing Terminator clothing in the polls a few years ago when Arnold Schwarzenegger was running for governator. Linda's husband, Vince McMahon, sued to get an injunction that ended up allowing such clothing to be worn at the polls.
