The other night on "Desperate Housewives" (yeah, I watch it, the babes are hot - especially Teri Hatcher) Eva Longoria-Parker's character was having a discussion with a character who is married on the show to a pro baseball player and is having marriage trouble. Longoria-Parker's character made a statement to the effect that it's almost impossible to stay married to a professional athlete.

I'm sure the entire cast laughed when they first saw the script. Of course, it's not funny unless you know who her real-life husband is.
