You need to remember, many of these are just changes to existing specific sentences or paragraphs.
You cannot dwell no certain wording without literally opening the book and applying the change.
Some are complete new or entire deletions. As noted, this is pretty much a generalization.
Also, authors do have an opportunity to amend and language is often reviewed prior to sending the changes to the printer. Okay, well, most of the time they get it right.
