Why is this thread even here? The camera angles are clearly . . . unclear. I think he missed the base, given the placement of his foot, but like the Davidson foul ball call, there is no way to tell from the available angles. As GoodwillRef admits. Layne had the best angle, and he was guaran-dang-teed sure the runner missed the bag. No doubt whatsover.
