How many of you blow the whistle when we are resuming play with FTs after a time-out? The mechanic I use is step in, signal the number of throws, hit my whistle and then bounce the ball to the shooter. Do you guys follow this same routine or do you do something different?
I'm looking forward to your responses.

I never blow a whistle in this instance. To me everyone realizes when the play is going to start. This is not like a throw in where all the players are all over the court. Usually most of the players, if not all are in one end of the court and cannot move until the ball is being shot. So I never do this and do not know anyone else that does. But maybe this is one of those cases that I am not doing the right thing. Good question.
