I'm not sure that's entirely accurate either. I refrained from writing in my previous post that the young man came from Florida because that would be failing to recognize that even prior to that he came from Haiti.
But your point about FL having its issues is well-taken.
This is the disturbing part to me, "in the summer of 2009, and Montimere moved in with Permian basketball coach Danny Wright."
That alone would have red flagged his eligibility in my state. Also, does anyone really believe that the coach was totally innocent in this and was duped by the player? The young man is living with him and he can't tell that he isn't 16.
Did he think that he was the 2nd coming of Lebron?
I have to question the role of the coach in this mess.
