The Earth is rotating around its axis. The Earth is revolving around the Sun. We are also moving with the Sun around the center of our galaxy and moving with our galaxy as it drifts through intergalactic space. And just another ref, BillyMac, and the ball, are all going along for the ride. Simple astrophysics... OK... Just astrophysics. Not very simnple.
