US olympic teams used to reasonably have disdain for players outside the US. Now that would be just plain silly. I think most high level players realize that the rest of the world is catching up and has something to offer on the court. And in the rule book.

My disdain has nothing to do with FIBA, although there are certain FIBA rules I don't like. It's all about soccer.
