Intentional...but not

Freshman boys this morning.

Game is late in the 4th, visitors are behind.

I'm the new lead, and am in position on the end line. The ball is coming up the opposite sideline. V1 fouls H1, reaching for the ball from the side. He ran into H1, displacing him to the side. My partner whistles the foul, then decides to go intentional. From his angle, I can see exactly why he called the intentional. He couldn't see the player make an attempt to play the ball.

From my angle, I had a good view to see V1 make a legitimate attempt at the ball.

Is it a good idea to get together as a crew to discuss the merits of an intentional foul? Should I give him my information and let him decide to keep the call or change it?

We talked about it afterwards, and he mentioned he didn't see the player make an attempt on the ball.
