[26 Year Gap]

I know this got discussed last year, but I had this play in a game this week. A1, outside the arc, makes a pass to A2 a little below the FT line along the lane line. It is a line drive pass. B2, standing inside the arc, deflects the pass and changes its trajectory dramatically, and it GOES IN! Scored it as a 2 point basket since A1's pass was clearly not a try and would not have gone anywhere near the basket had it not been for the deflection.
