2 technical fouls to head coaches:
1st: 7th grade girls' coach yells at the top of her lungs to call a foul after her player drives into 4 players with their hands straight up
2nd: 8th grade boys' coach; working with a first year official and there's a play were a whistle was probably warranted where the offense loses the ball. Defense gets the ball and scores. On the way back down the court coach starts yelling about the play and yelling about a previous foul we had called on his player. I give coach a reminder that we can't have him yelling, but before I can finish my reminder coach says, "Go ahead, T me up!" I kindly obliged.
4 technical fouls to players:
1st: BJV-Unsporting technical foul. Cursing at an official after a no call
2nd: BJV-Unsporting technical foul. Player slammed the matting behind the basket after I called a foul on him
3rd: B9-Intentional technical foul; two players got tangled up after a player. Step in to tell players to ease up and let go. One player followed directions, the other decided he needed to give a good push before he was done
4th: BV-Intentional technical foul. Game is not close, rebounding action and two players playing rough down low. I come up with a double foul. Not a second later, player frustrated with the contact gives a good shove with his forearm.
Flagrant:
GV-Though not a technical foul, had a flagrant foul when a girl decided to rear back and throw an elbow that connected.
