By rule, yes.

In my experience, by application, no.

Using a strict reading of the rule, it's a technical foul. And warnings before a techical foul aren't mentioned as being necessary in the book. However, most unsporting "T"S involve some judgment on the calling official's part. And every officials sets their own personal do-not-cross line.
