Agree. We're not supposed to. I'm on our local training committee and we tell our cadets to keep their verbiage to a minimum when reporting to the table.

It's not, "I've got a foul on white thirty-two for a hold. Blue ball out of bounds on the side". Instead it should be, ""White. Thirty-two. Hold. Possession blue."

As tjones1 posted, it's not, ""Full timeout requested by white coach granted." Instead it should be, "White Time. Coach. Thirty. Start the clock."
