Not pretty, but by rule handled correctly.
1. Once the ball becomes live, the illegal substitute becomes a legal player and there is nothing to be done to correct this mistake.
2. The horn blowing in the middle of a live ball for a player who is not illegal at that moment is a mistake by the scorer/timer. The officials correctly ignored the horn and allowed play to continue. The team which stopped playing and conceded a goal has only themselves to blame.
3. The C messed up in the final few seconds of play by putting himself out of position. When the "C" and the L both belatedly whistle this foul, there is an NCAA rule permitting the clock to be reset to the time of the contact, not the time of the whistle.
