While some of you are being all gushy over her, I am of the opinion that there are plenty of qualified men to fill the football officiating ranks without having the novelty of using a woman on a crew. We can do just fine without her, thank you.
This may be considered a chauvinistic approach and there may be a multitude of opponents to this view, which is fine. It may not be popular, but it's my viewpoint and I'm sticking with it.
Let the bashing begin, if you're so inclined.
