Whoa! Why can't girls wear multi-colored hair ties?
As long as they're soft and have no metal, I ceretainly don't care whether they're rubberbands, or cloth. Perhaps you're describing something else when you say "ties?"
BTW, I don't buy the argument that "a head band..." means the player can only wear one. That's not the intent of this rule.
