You'd think I'd learn by now
Small school boys Varsity game. I know soph coach very well, we actually worked at a small company awhile back before our respective coach/official days.
Doing a good job of calling travels and there were plenty to be had. As my partner made a travel call,I made a passing comment to my friend on bench "hey, I'm the travel agency tonight, those are mine." He chuckles an nods in agreement.
Head coach files that away and I blow a travel call on opponent later in game...........he was all over me, quoting my stupid remark.
Lesson learned............how do fish get caught? They open their mouths.
