Fan: "Hey Ref, which kid out there is your son?"
A has 7 fouls. B has 2. B's coach after I call the 3rd foul on B: "Do you realize the fouls are 8-2?"
Saturday, I worked Fr and JV girls, watched the girls V then worked Fr and JV boys at the same school. Fan who had sat thru 5 games so far..."Hey Ref, 4 games are too many!" I almost said "You are tellin me!!"
Coach: "You and your partner need to get on the same page". My partner and I talked about it in the locker room...lets see...we got there at the same time. We dressed alike. We both had whistles and occaisonally blew them. We both used a fist for a foul and an open hand for a violation. We both wore black socks and shoes. We both had short hair. We both have a slight beer gut. (no comments from the peanut gallery JR)
How much more on the same page we can be!!
