I agree. Two times I've worked with an official who used a mini and at some point during both games I couldn't hear their whistle. I just saw a fist go up and was waiting to hear a tweet but never did.

However, the Mini is soooooo much better than anything with a pea in it... which a newbie was using the other night. Clearly a 99 cent plastic special. I thought I would cry.
