For PA, the state interpreter attended the NFHS national rules interpretation meeting and then held interp meetings for groups of rules interpreters throughout the state. Each rule interpreter will lead interp meetings for their local chapter. The same NFHS power point presentation is provided as a guide for all interp meetings from the national to the local level.
I think this is a good thing. It helps to get High School refs singing the same tune across the U.S. and moving toward more consistency. Not having an interp meeting is a huge missed opportunity.
