I can't for the life of me figure out what point the coach in this situation was trying to make by having the player serve by kicking the ball....except, of course, the likely unintentional one of displaying their ignorance of the rules.
Agree completely on yelling across the court - came real close in my varsity match last night. Coach didn't understand that a LJ can make a call on either antenna. My R2 got her calmed down and I relayed the ruling via her floor captain.
