I went from this You Tube video to one of Jennie Finch teaching and demonstrating the "leap and drag" technique of pitching. In the video she says that the leap and drag..."is totally legal."
Is this correct statement...in any rule set?
I have always had the understanding that if I saw a pitcher leap I was to call "ILLEGAL PITCH"
Until I saw this video I had never heard the term "leap and drag".
Can some of you more experienced FP umps help me out on this?
