Love those the numbering requirements! If Im working Ump or W.H. for youth league or small middle schools games Ill always ask the coach during the pre-game talk if his team is numbered properly. I usually get that confused look that tells me he has no idea what Im talking about. Most teams at this level dont worry about such things and are just happy if they can field a team of players with different numbers. This can be quite trying for me as Ump when I see #4 down field on a forward pass play and I get that funny feeling he shouldnt be there. After banging them for ineligible down field Its a great relief when I see him come back to the line to snap the ball 8^)
