Technically yes. But as trail I will stand a little further up court so I can observe benches as well as the shooter. as lead I will move up to the first lane space that is normally occupied by an opponent for better position on the rebound.

Maybe I am misreading your reply, but why would you be concerned with rebounding if the lane was cleared?
