When I attened college in Florida in the ancient days, I was still single and my sister and I attended the same college. She sewed my FloridaHSAA patch on my H.S. shirt and my NAGWS patch on my college shirt.

When my better half and I moved back to Toledo from Los Angeles, and I became registered in both OhioHSAA and MichiganHSAA (I have not been registered in MichiganHSAA since the girls started playing basketball in the Winter) I had my better half sew my patches on my shirts. If you have to wear patches (OhioHSAA patches are not required) I would have them sewn onto your shirts. Patches that are sewn onto the shirt look professional. I never have liked the look of a basketball shirt with a patch attached with Velcro (registered trade mark placed here).
